5) Toyota Corolla E120
Since the launch of the first generation of the Corolla in 1966, cumulatively over 44.1 million Corollas have been sold globally, making it the best selling model overall. By 1974 it was the best selling car in the world. The E120 model alone however, amassed to almost 9.5 million from 2000-2007 worldwide; this is excluding Auris models and vehicles simply holding the Corolla name.
