The FK8 Type R brings home that crazy futuristic Honda styling but throws some Type R aggresion at it. It’s not all for show though, the newest Type R pumps out 316 bhp for Japanese & European markets from the much loved but aging K20 engine from which it’s based. One of the most clever additions is the tri-tip exhaust which in is in fact functional in that it manipulates the sound of the engine and the exhaust gas flow based on RPM without using any moving parts or electronics. Exactly what you would expect from the Japanese and means that it revs all the way to 7000 rpm shouting that its a Type-ARRRRRRRGH!
