4) BMW M140i
3.0 Litre Turbocharged 6-Cylinder | 335 bhp
The M140i really sticks out as it’s the only front-engine rear-wheel drive and the only straight-six on the list. With it’s 3.0L six cylinder turbo making 335 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 500 Nm of torque all going to the back tyres it really stakes it’s claim as one of the hottest most unruly hatchbacks currently on the roads. Sadly this may be the last of it’s kind for BMW as the new M135i has downsized to a turbocharged 2.0L four cylinder and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system.
